Wow, my very own soap box and confessional! This is the moment when I realise the power of the web. Yeah for the democratisation of technology!
I am a 24 year old woman, a secondary teacher, a bride to be and a Christian. Life is changing so fast for me at the moment and it is making me think about what this whole thing is about.

What is important to me? My worst fear is to wake up at 50 and realise I never made a difference, I got sucked into saving, buying a house, having kids and baking cakes. Even if I do these things I want something more. I am on the cusp of beginning a marriage and we will have to decide what we want to live for. The media seems to protray a pretty bland future but I am starting to realise that it is real people and real life which are the inspiration to live a valuable and passionate life. No numbness for me, I want to live a conscious and intergrated life where my beliefs are expressed in my actions and where there is no hypocrisy to be found. Idealistic and naive maybe, but you can't blame a girl for trying.

So often I have burning thoughts about life and no place to share them. Now there is a bit of performance pressure to come up with something worth reading. Welcome to my place, I hope you find something worth reading and hopefully something to encourage you. Let me know what you think!
